I was Google Image searching for Aubrey Beardsley's fetus illustrations (don't ask) and stumbled across an interesting if NSFW article by erotic artist Michael Manning. I was surprised to find that Beardsley was not as huge an inspiration on him as I'd thought before. Worth the read, I think.

After yesterday's post, Sam and I wandered down to Pickering Wharf to go through our (well, my) favorite antique and collectables shop. And there I scored a reproduction of J. M. I was bored and attempted to look for a connection of J.M. Barrie and Aubrey Beardsley, after discovering there was one between Aubrey and Kenneth Grahame . Unfortunately all I could find was some correspondence in 1904, well after Aubrey's death, between Barrie and Mabel Beardsley, probably because Mabel was involved in theatrical crap.
